Meet The Director of 3G
3G Girls Academy Director
Kisha has over 15 years of experience in youth and sports development. She went to high school in the south suburbs of Chicago, where she led her to team the Class A State Basketball Elite 8. During her high school career, she was named GCAC 1st Team All-Conference, Chicago Sun-Times and Chicago Tribune All-State Team, And Daily Southtown Player of the Year. Her team was recently named to the GCAC Hall of Fame. Kisha continued her basketball career by playing Division 1 basketball at Western Illinois University for 2 years where she was an All-Conference selection. She then transferred to the University of Louisville. While a member of the Cardinals, she was a starter that averaged 12.9 points and 6.7 rebounds. Kisha is best known for competing on season 14 and 18 of The Amazing Race. She traveled 40,000 miles across 9 countries, 23 cities, and 5 continents in 23 days to win season 18 of The Amazing Race.
Along with her passion for sports, she has spent her career supporting the social and emotional development of children and adolescents. She majored in psychology at University of Louisville. While working as a Youth Program Director in New York City, she obtained a B.A. in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Later while working in Chicago, she obtained a Masters in Social Work for University of Illinois-Chicago. In addition, she holds a Professional Educator’s License (Type 73 certification), which she has utilized to work as School Social Worker on the south side of Chicago. As a coach, her motto is, “I do not want my players to become just better basketball players, but I want them to become better people.”

2022 Girls Spring/Summer Team Tryout 13U -14U
Girls 7th & 8th Grade - 7:30pm - 8:30pm
This tryout is for 7th & 8th grade girls. On 2/21 this hour will consist of skill development drills, team drills, and game play to evaluate the players. We do not guarantee every player will make a team. For players that do not make a roster we will recommend a program to help with continued growth and encourage the player to tryout again next season.
